These are Short Acting Contraception like condoms, oral or pills, and injectables; Long Acting and Reversible Contraception like loop and implants; Permanent Contraception like vasectomy and bilateral tubal ligation; and Natural Contraception like beads method.

What is ideal age for contraception?

There is no specific age recommended to use contraception. Contraception is meant for all people of reproductive age (10-25+ years).

Can I use more than one family planning method?

YES! Dual protection from unintended pregnancy as well as venereal infections can be achieved by using other pregnancy prevention contraceptives combined with male and female condoms.

What is emergency contraception?

These are pills that are taken either before sex or after sex to avoid unintended pregnancy. The pills are supposed to be taken within 72 hours after sex.
