JOIN THE ACTION, PROTECT THE FUTURE

Youth Action Movement (YAM) established in 2005 is a youth arm of Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM). YAM has a model of youth participation, which enables young people to advocate and be recognized, and empowers them to be equal partners in programmatic decision making and resource allocation, both at national and district levels. YAM has twelve branches across Malawi including Tertiary Institutions.

FPAM is an organization that provides integrated comprehensive Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services to young people aged 10-24, men, women and other high-risk key populations including the underserved. FPAM envisions a Malawian society with access to quality and comprehensive SRHR information and services.

The organization recognizes YAM structure which was endorsed by the 33rd Session of the Africa Regional Council of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) to which FPAM is a Member Association as a youth structure championing the delivery of Comprehensive Sexuality Education.
