TESTIMONIALS

“Young girls who opt for contraception do not have an easy path to sustain access to family planning services, especially when they are known to be unmarried. Olive Enock who is on three-year implant contraception indicates that hearsays cannot save any life. What is important is to partner with supportive people including health workers,” Enock Said.

“This friend apart from being my school mentor is also a neighbor and taught me more about loop because she started using this method for some time now. She also said that loop contraceptive has no side effects like body pains, uncontrolled menses, and dizziness,” Abigirl Sitola explained.

“My friends and family members speculated that Covid-19 vaccine was designed to kill people on Anti-Retroviral Treatment (ART) and that you cannot survive beyond six months after getting the vaccine jabs. I kept counting down lifeline months and when I got to the seventh month, I quickly became the testimony that Covid-19 vaccine was not designed to kill people on ART treatment,” Zulu Said.

“I nearly died, and everyone here saw me battle for life when Covid-19 struck me hard. It was difficult to breathe, and I thank God, relatives, and friends because they stood up for me although some discriminated against me even when I was discharged from the hospital until now when they can get close to me again.” He added that “Sharing of face masks at the health facility just to get the health service is childish as you can get infected and let’s follow all preventive measures.”

“Our church decided to encourage its members because our doctrine values sharing bible studies as a group and in person. Although our churches shut down and we were congregating through WhatsApp and other virtual platforms, it was not enough, and our church leaders got vaccinated first. This provided an exemplary platform that every church member needed to follow to speed up resumption of congregation. Currently no member is allowed to get to church without evidence of vaccination and all preventive measures are still enforced and those with Covid-19 signs like sneezing and coughing are not allowed to get to church until they have recovered,”
